Important information regarding Bus Passes
Dear Parent/Carer
It has come to our attention that some pupils are not carrying a valid bus pass for school transport to the Atlantic Academy.
Please can you ensure that your child(ren) are carrying a valid bus pass at all times when travelling to and from school as they will not be allowed to travel unless they can present this to the driver.
In such instances it will be your responsibility, as parent/carer to arrange transport to and from school.
School transport costs around £1000 per year for each entitled pupil, so the bus pass is a very valuable item that needs to be looked after. Lost bus passes will cost you to replace.
If your child is still awaiting a bus pass then a letter confirming their entitlement to travel must be shown instead, until the pass is received. These can be obtained from reception.
