Examination Performance at Atlantic Academy Portland 22nd August 2024

 

Atlantic Academy Portland is thrilled to announce another year of fantastic GCSE results, with students achieving success across a wide range of subjects.

Principal, Lesley Bishop said, “We are enormously proud of our Year 11 students who have worked incredibly hard to achieve these remarkable results. Their commitment, perseverance and dedication have paid off, and today we celebrate not only their academic achievements but also the personal growth they have demonstrated throughout their time with us.”

Mrs Bishop paid tribute to the work of staff: “I would like to extend my gratitude to our dedicated staff whose passion for teaching and their belief in each student have made all the difference.”

Amongst the highest achieving students were Oliver Webb, Miya-lei Taylor, Sophie Thorn, Millie White, Aiden Peters, Alex ParkerAiden Barrett, Marcus Jones, Joe Pascoe, Dayna Ridler-Edwards, Max Griffin, Bella Milnes, Evan Jones, Jonathan Wraight, Bethany Moatt, Taynesha Gill, Kenzie Hall, Erin Canham and Maximilian Masih. 

Students will be moving on from Atlantic to a variety of pathways: 

“As all our students prepare to take their next steps—whether continuing their studies at a local 6th form or college, entering apprenticeships, or beginning their careers, we wish all of our students the very best for the future,” added Lesely.  “We have every confidence that they will go on to achieve great things, and we look forward to hearing about their continued successes.”
